Ah, the past often seems like simpler times... But that is only a myth and our new production lessons are here to prove it! Older doesn't mean easier or less complex: even though Sprite Fright is now almost two years old, a lot of thought and technical work went into it and those stories or tips are still relevant.

Let us take you back in time, to a cute and colorful forest...

Want to hear about Matthew's directorial process? He shares almost everything, from his inspirations for our favorite 80's inspired horror comedy to how he directed a film during COVID, with Hjalti as his co-director.

Matthew Luhn tells his experience in directing his first film with the Blender Studio.

Or maybe you're interested in our character pipeline, from design to animation? Then Vivien, Met and Julien can take you on their journey to build the Sprite Fright group. Then it's on to Rik and Pablo to show you how they brought the story to life.

Andy and Simon also have a lot to say about the world they built, with vegetation, props and lighting choices. All that with the support of Paul's pipeline tools - if you enjoy technical details and data tables, this one is for you!

If you're curious in any way about animation and film, you should find something to pick your brain; just go see for yourself!
