For a while now I've wanted to share my experience in making both layout and previs, which are both crucial to the film making process in animation. So I sat down with a lot of examples from the 'Wing It!' production and went over it for 1 hour and 40 minutes. I tried to be as concise as possible but it's a big topic and plenty of things to cover.

I go over the definition and differences between previs and layout, where they fit in the workflow, how multiple skill sets are needed and use my experience of working on "Wing It!" as an example: A lesson in the mixture of Layout and Previs
